The "Lope" Hunt

This weekend I found out that I actually enjoy hunting. Sean drew an antelope hunt this weekend and asked if I would come with so of course I said "Lets do it". One of these days I'm sure I' m going to regret those words. I swear Sean has taught me so much and I am becoming more well rounded after every adventure we go on. He drew his tag down by Price, Utah which is somewhere I have never been so it was interesting. We got up there on Friday night and hit the hay for our big hunt the next morning. It was really cold so I bundled up in some camo, and you can''t see it in the pics but I had pink Nike's on too:). I don't think anyone really thought I could hack this whole adventure, but I lived it up for every moment. Before I knew it I was telling Sean what to do: "get down they are on to us", "if you step on one more stick I'm gonna shoot you..", " Ok babe this ones yours take it", and finally "babe he's a big one shoot it ...shoot it". So I feel pretty good about saying I don't think he could have took this antelope without me:) Oh and in case you wondering I was there for the whole dressing of the animal, and quartering (yikes) it was actually really interesting. After all the excitement we finished off the day with hunting stories around the camp fire. The next day we played around the ranch and practiced some shooting it was a great weekend and I have already planned to take hunters safety, so I can put in for a bear hunt in the spring, and moose hunt in the fall. We'll see what happens? Moral of the story (girlie girl has gone wild:)!!!

Look who decided to pop up?

Ok so I guess we are growing mushrooms these days? I've been picking small ones out of the side of our yard lately and just yesterday I found this one that grew over night! I promise it's real and it's so perfect! I was pretty excited about it so I thought, what better to blog about than a mushroom right?...Oh man I think I need to have a kid or something?

So of course I had to do a little show in tell to the neighbors and they all thought it was interesting too. Especially my cute lil neighbor Salem she asked if she could have it cause she thought it was pretty cool. Later on I went over to chat with her parents and she had it in this cute lil jar and all. Her mom Chantel told me she put it out there so the fairies would come to her house ...(notice the rock for the fairies to sit on and the cute lil flowers). I tell ya lil kids and their big imaginations :) Let me know how that works out for ya "Sa":)

Yes...I did it, I finally figured out how to put captions above pictures. Now I have to figure out how to get them in order...LOL. Last night we had my company party and I didn't get as much pictures as I would have liked but I tried. We had a bbq at a park down in Lehi and on our way back the girls and Sean and I tore it up in SLC. We went to a piano bar and then afterwards went to Denny's and had a HUGE breakfast. I have to say this isn't usually my scene but it was fun to switch it up a lil and go out with Sean. I truly don't miss the single days, and it was so comforting knowing that at the end of the night I was going home with my best friend. See babe we're still cool:)

Me, Ash, Ali, and Kathy, all great girls that I work with. We just got done going down a 24' blow up slide, and that huge obstacle course in the background...it was a blast.
After all the festivities at the park we bundled up with some popcorn to watch "Penelope" ... there is just something about watching a movie outside makes it so much more fun.

I wish: I could go back and watch my entire life on video and always have it.

I forget: peoples birthdays all the time...I need a designated B-Day calendar.
I am scared: of losing anymore people in my life.
I need: to be a better wife...as far as cooking, cleaning, and staying on top of things.
I am happy about: where I'm at in my life.

Cambry's Birthday Party

This evenining Sean and I went out to his sister Amberleigh's house for Cambry's 1st Birthday. We had a delicious dinner and a princess cake with ice cream. Cambry was so cute because she was so into it, she loved opening her presents and she had a ball demolishing her piece of cake...as you can see:) I love Am and Jeremy's kids so much and Sean and I love being their aunt and uncle. It's so fun to watch Sean with them because he is so good with kids. Sean calls Cambry "Chicken Little" and she just thinks he's great, he always knows how to make her laugh. It makes me really excited for our future:)

My new embellishments

Ok so as you all know I'm a bit of a girly girl. I thought I would share some new additions to our home, these are some pillows and a lamp that I had fun embellishing. I swear Sean is a saint for putting up with all my ideas:) At first I think he was worried about what he was getting himself into, and now I know he wouldn't want it any other way (right honey?). Someday I will blog some pics of our new home I just have so many things that I still want to do that I feel like I would have to explain every pic, but I'll get over that and do it soon I promise.

Can't wait for my girls to visit

So it's official some of my BEST FRIENDS are coming to Utah to visit. These are the girls I grew up with that have always been TRUE FRIENDS of mine...I can't wait :)It's been a huge adjustment moving to Utah away from all my family and friends, but I must say having a very loving husband and his family and friends have become my own. I have my good days and bad days, but I just have to remember everyone is a phone call away. One thing that helps gets me thru being away is having visits planned to look forward to. I'm very fortunate to be able to see my parents as much as I do, but it never feels like enough:(. For everyone back at home (I MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU ALL VERY MUCH:)!!!

Man Sean and I just finished watching the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and it was amazing. Those poor little cheer leaders had to be exhausted!!!
It's nice to finally have something good to watch on T.V.
